Just got back from New Orleans. It's city I love dearly and when I visited nine months after Katrina my heart was broken. But now I can say, the beloved Big Easy is back. The famous eateries are up and running and the locals are reveling. She's an extraordinary city whose greatest natural resource is not the oil or the river, but the ability of her people to have a good time and share it.

Guess it depends on if you like desert driving or being outdoors. Right now the desert wildflowers are starting to bloom, so it makes a pretty drive. And once you're in Vegas, the sky's the limit. My Red Rock Canyon is great for mountain biking!

Hi Tara,
I see that Nextleg is seeking content for your site. Where is the link to your submission guidelines, word count, pay per post?

I would be interested in covering Northern California wine country, and I've recently returned from visiting several unique inns and lodges in southern Oregon.
